Invisalign

The Invisalign treatment consists of a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that you change every two weeks for the next set of aligners.

Each aligner is individually manufactured for your teeth to ensure the best possible end result. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final prescribed position.

The Invisalign aligners must be worn every day and the entire process usually takes, on average, seven to fifteen months to complete.

Clearstep

The Clearstep System is an effective way of achieving a beautiful smile invisibly.

The System features a number of different invisible methods used in conjunction with clear positioners, as – although the positioners are excellent at straightening out overlapping, crooked or gappy teeth – they can’t solve every problem on their own. Clearstep decided to solve this problem with a full range of invisible orthodontics.

The clear positioners, which are wafer thin and made of a transparent medical-grade plastic, continue to be the main treatment method. With the Clearstep System you wear each positioner for approximately two weeks. Little by little the positioners gently move your teeth from their present to your desired position as you work through the steps.

The Clearstep range is very comfortable to wear and will not impact on your speech. The System is removable, so the positioners can be taken out for an important occasion.

Inman Aligner

The Inman Aligner is a terrific and easy option for straightening your front teeth, especially for adult relapse.

The Inman Aligner is a custom orthodontic appliance that utilises space age materials to generate comfortable, continuous orthodontic force. It uses a lingual coil spring that puts pressure on the teeth than need repositioning and a labial bar that reverses the same pressure. These components work together to ‘squeeze’ the teeth by pushing and pulling them into alignment, which can efficiently straighten out your front teeth.

Simpli5

Simpli5 is a system of clear aligners (invisible braces) which is used to treat mild orthodontic problems, such as minor malocclusions, post orthodontic refinement, correction of orthodontic relapse, and pre-veneer alignments.

Treatment with the Simpli5 system typically takes between ten and twenty weeks, depending on the amount of tooth movement required. You will usually wear each set of aligners for three to four weeks for about 20 hours a day, removing them to eat and clean your teeth. You will know when it is time to change your next set of aligners when your aligners begin to feel loose!

By the end of your treatment, your teeth should appear straight. However, the Simpli5 system is only suitable for mild cases – more extensive tooth movement would be better treated with methods such as Invisalign, Six Month Smiles or the Inman Aligner.
